UYG will be holding a special event starting Monday, December 19th, 2011 on the prime time UYG livestream (http://www.twitchtv.com/XUpYourGameX) starting at 9pm EST.

Certain UYG members or Character Specialists will be coming to the stream and will explain or cover their character's buffs, tweaks and combo potentials in SSFIV:AEv2012. Each member will be given approximately one hour timeslot of what they wish to cover. UYG Member Cliffeside will be the first to cover Dudley's changes on the stream on Monday Night.

As everyone knows as of early this morning, Version 2012 was finally released on both Xbox360 and PSN. With the immedate updates, there were numerous reports on Capcom Unity and Shoryuken.com of hidden changes which were not reported on the blogs. So let's take this and see what new setups (which weren't possible in AE) and nerfs we can all find in our characters.

The Sony PS3. It saves your music and replays it in HQ, it plays movies in BluRay, it connects wirelessly to your pc (that is if you have wifi). It does 3D gaming. And now, it strives to new grounds. Take a look at the video embedded (which by the way was linked by UYG member Christian on Facebook). 3D viewing will never be the same....

Primetime channel catering to the recently released 3rd Strike endless lobby (even though we're still trying to figure out some of these unknown glitches that are popping up). This stream channel is run by yours truly, Nemesys_Syndrome (me!). This channel goes live around 9pm EST every night up until 2~3AM EST. This channel not only streams 3SOE but various story driven games as well which are mostly new releases. If you're looking to purchase a particular game and would like to see it played live (with feedback and reviews), simply make a request on the stream and the game will be picked up.

Up-Your-Game announces the first Third Strike Online Singles Tournament on PSN. The tournament format will be slightly different this time around as opposed to previous UYG tournaments. It'll be different in the fact that this will not be regional locked. West Coast/Midwest/East Coast players are permitted to join up in this tournament.

UYG 3v3 Top 8 Grand Finals!

The time has finally come to decide the victor of the week long 3v3 Top 8 Grand Finals. This event will be starting tonight @ 10pm EST. Just so everyone knows, the tournament format will be broken into two separate pools (brackets). Each bracket will be set in a double elimination format. JOY! As you can see UYG is back online and upgraded. There were a number of reasons we needed to upgrade the site to the newest software but suffice it to say that things will be a lot smoother going forward.

In a future update I'll be posting some of the new features available (as some of them aren't immediately apparent).

Up-Your-Game announces the next installment of the Qualifier series with one big change. The Qualifier series is now 3v3! The qualifier series will begin on August 2nd, 2011 at 9pm EST. This qualifier series is for East Coast and Midwest Players only and will be streamed live @ http://www.justin.tv/XUpYourGameX. Also, we're announcing our newest addition to the streaming channel. http://www.Justin.tv/XxUpYourGamexX with our broadcaster Saki. He'll be streaming at various times during the day throughout the week as well as doing some tournaments for us.

The tournament rules are as stated below:

  • Double Elimination
